I built my wife this chair as my first piece of furniture over 10 years ago, and it sits proudly in our living room today as beautiful as ever. After a decade of three boys bouncing and jumping all over it, it seems to have gotten more comfortable with time. It was her favorite
for curling up with the boys when they were little to read a book on a snowy day next to the woodstove—the youngest on her lap, and the other two on each arm.
I enjoy the low arms for being able to still play my guitar in an armchair, are rare luxury without banging the guitar into the arms constantly.
